Nexon is all-out tryharding now

Well, with AVA now on Steam and TF2 becoming F2P, Nexon appears to have finally realized that they should get their shit straight if they want to keep making money off this game.
And judging from what I've seen + other forumers' reactions, this patch is (hopefully) going to be the best patch in the game's history.

Blood money actually looks fun, and isn't just vanilla packing foam to make it look like they're accomplishing something. One of the few new modes that looks really interesting.

Nexon Guard is going to substantially cut the hacker population.

They're moving many NX items to GP.

They're buffing the fuck out of the EXP and GP rates.



We shall see what lies in store for us on the 27th.

Nexon better get this patch done right because with such high hopes and high expectations for this update, if it's a letdown it could be somewhat disastrous for them. I'm pretty excited about the exp/gp buff because it'd make those other fun modes worth playing more often. I do hope they carefully plan out how they implement the Nx stuff though since some of it is pretty good. As an example there's Hauser and the Heavy vest. If they make Hauser ridiculously cheap or just way too easily obtainable, we'd see Hausers everywhere and it'd phase out the Heavy vest. Probably won't happen but I have a feeling we'll see more mercs running around than usual. And I would like more Nx weapons becoming available for GP or at least for perm.

Maybe I might stick around now. We'll see.

If this patch makes the game better... I am going play CA everyday and kick ass! Unless i see one of those aimboters and opkers again...

What they should do is fix the reg issues and work on getting the hackers out.

Noxen Guard should be getting rid of a large portion of the hackers, and I'm one of the lucky players who has never had reg issues.

I don't believe I've actually had no reg although I have had late reg when I shoot a killing shot against another person at the same time because the other person's damage package reached Nexon's server before mine did.

I'm trading NX for gcoins, what do you think my stance is on Nexon right now?

CTF gets a good boost in tomorrow night's patch and K2 can be modded in GE (too bad the GE is still mostly useless).

I expect a fail as usual.

The exp/gp boost looks really good and I'm not really complaing but I wonder if Nexon's going to do something that would offset what looks like an easy rank up. Bombing run's and Quarantine's boosts look huge, plus the addition of exp passes would let someone rank up easily. Can't wait to get to 1LT3 to get the m6a2 and the L115a2.

That 50% is bullshit, Fireteam is getting 50% too.

Why boost FT when people already grind it so much. And I guess they're being cautious with CTF because of the issues with powerleveling it used to have.

All they need to do is heavily base rewards on time spent in the game and everything is fixed.

Why AFK if the point of the game is to play it? I'm really happy about the boost for QR because the QR gear was rather expensive for just a few rounds of it.
Something I've wondered about for a while: is it better to use Exp passes to increase the exp gained per time spent or per game? Or does it depend on what passes you use? I'm pretty glad I left the exp/gp passes from the Kalika case untouched until the exp boost.
