I've never actually played the first DotA or really Warcraft at all but I play a lot of Hero Attack on Sc2 and it's pretty fun Very Happy (which I'm told is like DotA)

Why not?

Besides getting used to graphics, the original DotA teams would have no trouble jumping into it. They've also had a few days (weeks?) to practice.

And a million dollar tournament is great advertising.
