Snipers-only Tournament

It's time for DP's first tournament, and we're going to do it snipers only elimination-style. The rules are simple. We are going to do the trees MLG style without the pool play, but using an OMA-style match to decide seeding placements instead. Further explanation of the structure will be posted when I put up the first draft of the tree. The winner of this tournament will receive 10,000NX and an invitation to Steamgifts. This tournament is open to Dead Pixel members and affiliates only.

The weapons allowed in this tournament are GP only up to 2LT. This includes:

Gear is allowed, but it is also GP only gear available up to 2LT 5th. This includes:

To SET UP YOUR MATCH you and your opponent will have two chances. There will be one set time for you both to show up and do your match (which will be a 1v1 15-kill OMA). To report your win simply screenshot the scoreboard and post it in this thread. If one or both players don't show up for the first set match, the players will set a time themselves within the week. If a player doesn't show up both times, he will be moved to the loser's bracket. If he is already in the loser's bracket, he will be dropped from the tournament. If you report your absence before your match begins, there will be no penalty and it will be rescheduled. However you can only do this a maximum of 3 times.

The map that you will face-off on are going to be playing on will be a random choice out of a small pool of maps (to be decided). However, you and your opponent may agree upon any map and that will be selected.

I'm NOT joining but I just wanted to say I'll laugh if Elk wasn't trying at all this whole time and actually rolls everyone in the tournament.

Sign-ups are going to close Thursday, September 8th. Then that Saturday, September 10th, we'll do the seeding match where it's a giant free for all. If you don't come to this match you won't be disqualified but you will be placed at the bottom of the seeds.
