Inactivity Policy

So I'm thinking with the new erbaz website, I can keep track of who's actually playing the game. I propose that at the end of the month I check this the Experience gained by all the members in Dead Pixel for that month. Anyone who is not listed (and therefore has not played for that month), will be kicked from the in-game clan. Of course, anyone who posts a LOA of any substantial duration will be exempt from this rule. We will then keep them as a member on the forums unless we don't hear from them for another month, at which point they will no longer be a member of Dead Pixel and will have to reapply.

The site is still under construction I guess so there are discrepancies, like I know alpine(paiste) has been playing but for some reason it only shows 10 of us. It should be fixed and synced by the end of the month though

If you look at the listings to the left for who's at what rank, the lowest it goes is 2nd LT 1.

Well, that's inconvenient. Did the creator(s) of the site say anything about shows lower ranks any time soon?

Uh I looked through the original thread and he said he's doing officers because there are too many people at CSM and below. If he were to do that, I can assume the whole page would be cluttered by low ranks and the wall of shame would be filled with low rank hackers banned constantly. I'm guessing this is more of a tool to keep an eye on suspicious high ranks.

Ah, that makes sense. But still inconvenient for the idea put out by Echo. Unless there's some other way to track who's been logging on in a month.

And what of the members that aren't officers yet but still play frequently? I've seen Elk playing quite a bit along with John (unless they've started to play less).

Eh, I don't like that idea. I don't even think we have a specific rank requirement. Pretty much all we ask is maturity, (Based off the recruitment thread draft.) rank doesn't really matter.

True, but 2LT is kind of a high rank for a clan, even with the boosted rates. You don't see many clans accepting 2LT+ only unless its W0GLpro. And we can still find who's been inactive and who hasn't. We haven't had much problems with it in the past.And if we kick somebody who's inactive but didn't leave a LOA, they could just get into contact with us, explain where they've been, and etc.

gettign to 1st lt without boosted rates took 2 years....now it can take like 2 months sigh

@gstar: It took Kips 18 days to get to 1LT

@creepa: Remember that the end goal of this idea is too keep everyone in the clan active. If we get low ranking recruits, it won't matter one bit if they are active. Making the clan an officer and up clan will cut a lot of potential recruits
